Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt, February 2nd
This week's theme is Narrow. A Bible verse came to mind first:
Matthew 7:13-14
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Here is my narrow gateway.
Matthew 7:13-14
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Here is my narrow gateway.
This is a scanned in picture from the summer of 2005. We went to Hollnad, MI, for my cousin's wedding, and one morning we took a walk to Lake Michigan. This is the narrow passageway under the sand dunes to the lake.
It's a lot different than the sand dunes I know on the Texas coast! ;-) We loved being there and having a good time.
Next week's theme is heavy. Too bad I don't have a brother. You know the old song . . . "He ain't heavy, he's my brother . . ."

Great picture. It reminds me of a tunnel that used to be on Florida State University's campus that ran under Pensacola Street allowing people to walk from Doak Campbell Stadium (where they play football)to Dick Howser Stadium (where they play baseball)and the nearby FSU Flying High Circus complex (FSU has the only university circus in the world).
Anyway, my PhotoHunt entry is at:

That's a different take for this week. I love how you connected your verse to the photo. I love sand dunes too, it reminds me of my youth in Australia. None in Canada!
Thanks for visiting.

Definitely narrow -- now I'm curious about the sand dunes on top.

Hi Jenny. That's a nice verse, perfect for this week's theme. It must have been interesting to go through a passageway under the sand dunes going to the lake.
Thanks for visiting. You got me on that comment. :) As much as I do not approve of plastic, I have to admit that it's difficult to abandon the use of all plastic things altogether. I just try to limit it whenever I can.
Looking forward to the next hunt. Heavy is another challenging theme.

Jenny, last year you participated in my Favorite Ingredients Friday Chocolate Edition recipe exchange. I’m hosting a second edition today, in preparation for Valentine’s Day, and I’ll hope you join in again!
