Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt---Technology
If you're interested in seeing how others interpreted the theme "Technology" check it out here. If you wanted to join in, here is the way to join in.
This is my niece S and I on the computer around Christmas. My son took it with our digital camera (another piece of technology). S is only 17 months old, yet there are programs out there designed for little ones like her. She is pre-mouse in her technology use! ;-)
It's important to teach kids the use of computers (okay, maybe not babies!), since our dependence on them is only going to grow. On the other hand, I think we at our house are on the computer too much (me included). We keep the computer in the living room, and I plan on keeping it this way even as my kids get older.
I am excited about how technology has me connected to the world!

Great photo! The little ones sure pick computer use up early don't they?

Getting them started early helps with their development skills. Good post for the hunt.

Great photo! It's amazing how young children start using computers these days.
Have a good weekend. :)

My daughter runs circles around me with the computer (I wish I could figure out Adobe PhotoShop like she has!) but at least I can muddle my way through most things.

Nice choice for this week's theme. Love your term "pre-mouse". My three year old son loves the computer. I let him play on-line educational games on the computer.

Start them young, cause today's world can't do without it. We bought my 4 yr. old grand-daughter one of those toy laptops that she can learn from. V-Tech has a really good one for them to learn.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's exciting, isn't it, the thought of what possibilities these children will have with technology - yes, but scary as well! I wonder what it will bring for the new generation! :)

Oh yes! We're ALL on them TOO much! How to take a good thing and make it a BAD thing! We're pro's at that, huh? Yea... don't get the little one hooked TOO soon! Plenty of time for that!
